Announcing New Game Audio Class At City College SF this Fall!
Great News! One of our partner schools, City College of San Francisco, will be offering a game audio course using our materials. For local students on a budget, this is one of the best deals you can find anywhere. You will get 18 weeks of instruction and hands on experience dealing with Unity audio implementation, and gain experience with popular middleware tools like FMOD, Fabric, and Wwise. You will also get a thorough grounding in basic theories and concepts in game audio as well. Included in the materials will be two GAI game lessons, the Breakout game, and the new version of the Mysterious Warehouse! These will be provided by City College onsite.
The class runs on Wednesdays from 3:20 pm to 9:10pm at the Mission Campus, conveniently located near the 24th St BART station. It’s six hours of lecture and workshop combined. The cost of the course is approximately $150 (3 credit hours @ $46 per credit). If you are local to the Bay Area and interested in game audio or interactive audio, this opportunity is not to be missed, as it’s approximately 10 times cheaper than any other local game audio class you will find. Here’s the registration information:
