Music hasn’t changed, just the ways we create and consume it. At the Game Audio Institute we have developed solid relationships with teachers and schools all over the world. Through these partnerships we create fantastic programs that support students headed out into a new digital economy.

We work with schools both large and small – from highschool, all the way up to university. If you’re a teacher, administrator, or faculty member at a recognized academic institution, you can purchase GAI Game Lessons for use in your classrooms at a discounted rate.

With 20 plus years of experience, we can help you tailor an education plan that is right for your institution, from single classes to full degree programs. We’re happy to meet with you in-person or virtually to help train your staff.

Middle School / High School

We’ve been educating students in the classroom for over a decade, and have tailored our Courses and Game Lessons for the pre-college market. Your students will really have fun creating their own music and sound design and then implementing those designs into real games that they can share with their friends.

College / University

We started GAI as college-level educators, so we know the specific needs of these students as well as how to prepare them for an increasingly digital and interactive world of audio production for a wide variety of mediums. Our teaching method gets real results in terms of the skills needed to thrive in the dynamic world of interactive media and games, and many of our students have gone on to work for some of the worlds top game companies.
